My favorite stores
My favorite stores at the moment (not counting haute couture) consist of American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, and Forever 21. I get the most inspiration from the most simplistic designs. I think this is because I have painted all my life, and a simple garment is like a blank canvas, it is something to start with.
A very wise friend of mine once told me, “Having style and being fashionable does not have to be expensive”. It all has to do with what you choose to buy and the way you wear your clothes. That is another reason I choose to shop at these stores, because I can get by financially as well as getting in my shopping fix. I think you can make anything look rich even if it only costs ten dollars! And style is a state of mind, you either have it or not…and it also is continually learned through studying fashion history and design, and being an avid magazine subscriber. Any other fashion/style ideas…send them this way!!!
