Join us in St. Louis for a DIYStyle Party!
Grab your friends and join the DIYStyle crew, along with St. Louis American Sewing Guild, for a fab day in St. Louis at our DIYStyle “Design it Yourself” Style Party!
The day-long "sew-in" is at the Flo Valley Community College, in the All Purpose room. On Saturday, June 27th, from 10am to 4pm, be ready for a day of hands-on fun! Create you own DIY fashions. Work in our stitch stations set up with everything to make your own goods. Sew up some panties from the DIYStyle Lingerie pattern from McCall’s and perform T-shirt surgery, creating the look you want, with our help.
Fashions take the stage twice a day, showcasing the DIYStyle fashions from the McCall’s pattern line, as well as DIYStyle.net vodcast projects. Watch for some local guest designers to join in the fun! Great music will be flowing to keep everyone in the party mood. Snacks and soft drinks help satisfy the munchies. And it’s only $20 for the whole day.
The St. Louis chapter of the American Sewing guild will have several "sewing guru's" to help you along, so come on down, even if you have NEVER touched a sewing machine. We’ll help you create and learn to “Design It Yourself”
