[display_podcast]

In our pilot episode, meet our host, Allyce King, as she shows you how to make a super-easy first project, a “Laptop Skin”! It’s a cool slipcover for your laptop made out of polar fleece. We zip over to Portland, Oregon, where co-host Melissa Watson shares her thoughts on ripping apart old clothes to reconstruct them into something hip and fashionable. Next, meet Stephanie Link, a young fashion designer on the move, and get lots of great tips and inspiration along the way.

I totally enjoyed the vodcast! Well done. As a baby boomer, it is great to see enthusiastic young people sewing. The new media available to sewers now is incredible too. I look forward to seeing your future endeavors.
